In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Denver Christian Thunder baseball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Del Norte Tigers.

The Thunder (21-3) will now prepare for their game against Peyton (Peyton, CO). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 25-1 record. In their last game, Peyton held off St. Mary's (Colorado Springs, CO), 8-2, in a non-league contest.

The Tigers now sport a 17-6 record.
