Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) and the host West Morris Central Wolfpack (Chester, NJ), witnessed South Plainfield's softball squad tip West Morris Central by a count of 7-1.
The Tigers now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Warren Hills Regional for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 31. South Plainfield will meet a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, West Morris Central moves to 4-3 on the season.
