The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Gilford Golden Eagles (Gilford, NH) and the visiting Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH), observed Gilford's softball team get by Fall Mountain by a tally of 3-2.

The Golden Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Mascoma (Canaan, NH). The Royals go into the Division III bout with a 0-14 record. In their last bout, Mascoma was nipped by Newport (Newport, NH), 22-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Hanover Bears (Hanover, NH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 28. Fall Mountain will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record.
