Ohio High School Softball - LaBrae edges Mathews

May 26, 2025: Vienna, OH 44473

In Monday's non-league match, the visiting LaBrae Vikings softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Mathews Mustangs.

The Vikings (23-6) will now prepare for their match against Manchester (Akron, OH). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 23-5 record. In their last match, Manchester nipped Northwestern (West Salem, OH), 17-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Chalker Wildcats (Southington, OH) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, May 28. Mathews will attempt to better on its 24-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 14-4 record after their 10-0 non-league win over St. John (Ashtabula, OH).
