Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Moline upgrades its record to 22-11 on the season. The Maroons host Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, May 28. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 26-11. Plainfield Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against East Moline United (East Moline, IL)
With the defeat, Pekin falls to 8-12 on the season.
