Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Abington Green Wave (Abington, MA), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Wamps now own a 10-9 record.

With the loss, Abington falls to 16-4 on the campaign. The Green wave host Stoughton (Stoughton, MA) to battle the Black Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 30. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a record of 10-9. Stoughton won 23-1 in their recent league challenge against Sharon (Sharon, MA)
