Lake Washington Kangaroos (Kirkland, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Arlington Eagles (Arlington, WA), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Kangaroos now own a 23-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 28. Lake Washington will battle a Roughriders squad coming off a 20-4 non-league win over Timberline (Lacey, WA). The Roughriders record now stands at 24-4.

With the loss, Arlington falls to 19-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to University (Spokane, WA) to battle the Titans in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 27. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 19-3. University won 9-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Hermiston (Hermiston, WA)
