Noble Knights (Berwick, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Biddeford Tigers (Biddeford, ME), 2-1 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deering for a Class A South challenge on Tuesday, May 31. Noble will battle a Rams squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME). The Rams record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Biddeford falls to 15-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Scarborough (Scarborough, ME) to battle the Red Storm in a Class A South challenge on Tuesday, May 31. The Red Storm enter the challenge with a record of 11-3. Scarborough won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Thornton Academy (Saco, ME)
