Spectators at Friday's league match between the Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) and the host Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME), witnessed Windham's softball squad tip Portland by a count of 7-0.

The Eagles now sport a 12-2 record. They play next when they host South Portland for a Class A South match on Tuesday, May 31. Windham will meet a Red Riots squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Red Riots record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Portland moves to 9-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Cheverus (Portland, ME) to meet the Stags in a Class A South match on Tuesday, May 31. The Stags go into the match with a record of 4-11. Cheverus lost 8-5 in their recent league match against Marshwood (South Berwick, ME)
