The Steubenville Big Red the visiting Unioto Shermans softball squad by a count of 6-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Big Red (23-5) will now prepare for their battle against Canfield (Canfield, OH). The Cardinals go into the non-league battle with a 23-2 record. In their last battle, Canfield nudged Marlington (Alliance, OH), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Shermans now sport a 24-4 record.
