In Monday's non-league challenge, the Milan Indians (Milan, IN) baseball squad edged the host Hauser Jets (Hope, IN), by a final score of 2-1.

With the win, Milan upgrades its record to 9-11 on the season. The Indians travel to Southwestern (Hanover, IN) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 27. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 19-7. Southwestern won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Switzerland County (Vevay, IN)

With the defeat, Hauser falls to 18-10 on the season.
