Maine High School Baseball - Erskine Academy nips Belfast

The Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) baseball got by the visiting Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME), 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Maine Central Institute for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 29. Erskine Academy will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 15-5 league win over Penquis Valley (Milo, ME). The Huskies record now stands at 2-8.

With the defeat, Belfast drops to 9-4 on the year. The Lions host John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to clash with the Crusaders in a Class B North challenge on Thursday, May 29. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 3-9. John Bapst Memorial lost 6-4 in their recent league challenge against Waterville (Waterville, ME)
