The Melvindale Cardinals (Melvindale, MI) baseball trounced the visiting River Rouge Panthers (River Rouge, MI), 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 24-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crestwood for a Western Wayne challenge on Wednesday, May 28. Melvindale will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 15-3 non-league loss to Fordson (Dearborn, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 6-15.
With the defeat, River Rouge drops to 9-11 on the year.
