The Northwest Catholic Lions (West Hartford, CT) baseball trounced the host Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT), 14-4 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Hartford for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 29. Northwest Catholic will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to RHAM (Hebron, CT). The Hornets record now stands at 8-14.
With the defeat, Wilbur Cross drops to 0-21 on the year. The Governors host Wilton (Wilton, CT) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 28. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 2-16.
