The Freeman Mavericks lacrosse squad scored 22 points and limited the visiting Godwin Eagles to 2 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mavericks now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to James River Midlothian for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 29. Freeman will clash with a Rapids squad coming off a 18-4 non-league win over Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Rapids record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Godwin falls to 5-11 on the year.
