The Hermon Hawks the visiting Bangor Rams softball squad by a count of 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks play the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) in a Class B North challenge, on Saturday, May 31. Hermon will attempt to upgrade on its 13-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 11-1 league loss to Belfast (Belfast, ME).
The Rams (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME). The Dragons enter the Class A North challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, Brunswick by Morse (Bath, ME), 9-5, in a non-league challenge.
