The Hampden Broncos triumphed over the host Mt. Blue Cougars softball squad by a count of 15-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Broncos play the Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME) in a Class A North challenge, on Friday, May 30. Hampden will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Witches enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 11-0 league win over Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME).

The Cougars (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Blue Devils enter the Class A North challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Lewiston was routed by Oxford Hills (South Paris, ME), 13-1, in a league challenge.
