In Tuesday's non-league test, the Superior Central Cougars (Eben Junction, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI), by a tally of 22-1.
Next, the Cougars meet the Ishpeming Hematites (Ishpeming, MI) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 30. Superior Central will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Hematites go into the test with a 4-10 record after their 20-11 non-league win over Gladstone (Gladstone, MI).
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Norway (Norway, MI). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 10-8 record. In their last test, Norway was routed by Gladstone (Gladstone, MI), 15-0, in a non-league test.
