In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Blue Springs South Jaguars (Blue Springs, MO) baseball squad edged the host Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO), by a final score of 4-3.
With the win, Blue Springs South upgrades its record to 25-10 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Lindbergh (St. Louis, MO) to battle the Flyers in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 3. The Flyers come into the challenge with a record of 19-15. Lindbergh won 10-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Marquette (Chesterfield, MO)
With the defeat, Kickapoo falls to 27-8 on the season.
