In Saturday's non-league game, the host Trenton Trojans baseball team scored a tight 9-3 victory over the Fruitport Trojans.
The Trojans (23-9) will now prepare for their game against Milford (Highland, MI). The Mavericks go into the non-league game with a 10-10 record. In their last game, Milford tipped South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI), 10-4, in a league game.
