Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Panther Valley Panthers (Lansford, PA) and the host Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA), saw Panther Valley's baseball squad edge Notre Dame-Green Pond by a count of 8-7.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 31. Panther Valley will attempt to move on its 17-6 season record. The Blue Bombers enter the battle with a 15-8 record after their 4-0 league win over Palisades (Kintnersville, PA).
