Ohio High School Softball - Hoover holds off Austintown-Fitch

The Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH) softball the visiting Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH), 5-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Vikings (15-5) will now prepare for their bout against Lakota West (West Chester, OH). The Firebirds go into the non-league bout with a 27-3 record. In their last bout, Lakota West held off Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH), 3-2, in a non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 23-3 record.
