The Bremen Lions (Bremen, IN) softball routed the host Prairie Heights Panthers (LaGrange, IN), 20-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lions (17-8) will now prepare for their bout against Westview (Topeka, IN). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 15-4 record. In their last bout, Westview toppled LaVille (Lakeville, IN), 11-0, in a non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 9-10 record.
Game Summary
The Bremen Lady Lion softball team took an early lead, gave it back, then tied the score at 5 in the 5th, and dominated the last 2 innings, scoring 15 runs in those two frames to win 20-5 at Westview on Saturday. Every Lion hitter had a hit and scored a run. Mickie Shively, Ellia Foster, Naomi Flores, Gretchen Willis, and Avery Wildauer each had 2 hits each. Willis had a double & HR. The Lions will face Westview in the Sectional final winners over Fairfield 3-2.
