Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Passaic County Tech for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 30. Columbia will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-9.

With the loss, Ridgewood falls to 16-11 on the campaign.
