Maine High School Baseball - Bonny Eagle nips Cheverus

The Bonny Eagle Scots baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Cheverus Stags to 2 in the Scots league win on Wednesday.

The Scots now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they host Falmouth for a Class A South test on Thursday, May 29. Bonny Eagle will play a Navigators team coming off a 5-4 league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, ME). The Navigators record now stands at 8-4.

With the defeat, Cheverus drops to 3-10 on the year. The Stags travel to Sanford (Sanford, ME) to play the Spartans in a Class A South test on Friday, May 30. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 8-6. Sanford lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Marshwood (South Berwick, ME)
