In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Jesup J-Hawks baseball squad scored a tight 5-3 victory over the South Hardin Tigers.
Next up, the J-Hawks encounter the Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout, on Thursday, May 29. Jesup will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 0-4 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA).
The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Norsemen enter the non-league bout with a 4-1 record.
