Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Anamosa Raiders (Anamosa, IA), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Hudson advances its record to 25-4 on the campaign. The Pirates host Solon (Solon, IA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, May 30. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 16-8. Solon won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Regina (Iowa City, IA)

The Raiders now have a 6-5 record.
