Iowa High School Softball - Algona bounces Bishop Garrigan

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Algona Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 20-2 win over the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears.
The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Cadets come into the North Central match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Iowa Falls-Alden was routed by West Fork (Sheffield, IA), 6-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Golden Bears battle the Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) in a Top of Iowa-West match, on Friday, May 30. Bishop Garrigan will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Central Springs (Manly, IA).
