The Newton Braves softball squad (Newton, NJ), was routed 14-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ)
With the triumph, Passaic Valley improves its record to 22-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to High Point (Sussex, NJ) to face the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, May 30. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 11-9. High Point won 9-0 in their recent non-league contest against Dumont (Dumont, NJ)
The Braves now hold a 11-12 record.
