The AGWSR Cougars baseball team (Ackley, IA), was overwhelmed 8-4 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the visiting Columbus Sailors (Waterloo, IA)
The Sailors now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Gladbrook-Reinbeck for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 29. Columbus will face a Rebels team coming off a 6-2 league loss to East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-6.
Next, the Cougars face the South Hardin Tigers (Eldora, IA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 30. AGWSR will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Union (La Porte City, IA).
