Middletown Cavaliers (Middletown, DE) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Caesar Rodney Riders (Camden, DE), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cavaliers confront the Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 1. Middletown will attempt to better on its 17-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Padua Academy (Wilmington, DE).
The Riders now have a 13-4 record.
