In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Sumner-Fredericksburg Cougars softball team scored a nice 11-0 win over the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons.

Coming up next, the Cougars battle the Wapsie Valley Warriors (Fairbank, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - East outing, on Thursday, May 30. Sumner-Fredericksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 2-3 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA).

The Falcons (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines enter the North Iowa Cedar - Central outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Dike-New Hartford was routed by East Marshall (Le Grand, IA), 5-1, in a non-league outing.
