Horicon Marshmen (Horicon, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Waterloo Pirates (Waterloo, WI), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Marshmen now own a 20-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cuba City for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 30. Horicon will face a Cubans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Fennimore (Fennimore, WI). The Cubans record now stands at 20-2.
With the loss, Waterloo falls to 15-11 on the campaign.
