The Pingry School Big Blue (Martinsville, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Big Blue now own a 15-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount St. Dominic Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 31. The Pingry School will face a Lions squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Academy of the Holy Angels (Demarest, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 30-1.

With the loss, Paramus Catholic falls to 16-12 on the campaign.
