The Foxcroft Academy Ponies baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles to 0 in the Ponies league win on Thursday.
The Ponies now hold a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mattanawcook for a Class C North test on Saturday, May 31. Foxcroft Academy will play a Lynx team coming off a 9-2 league win over Calais (Calais, ME). The Lynx record now stands at 13-0.
With the defeat, George Stevens Academy drops to 4-10 on the year. The Eagles host Lee Academy (Lee, ME) to play the Pandas in a non-league test on Friday, May 30. The Pandas go into the test with a record of 8-4. Lee Academy won 10-0 in their recent league test against Stearns (Millinocket, ME)
