The Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA), 8-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Rockingham for a Valley challenge on Friday, May 30. Turner Ashby will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 15-1 league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-3.

With the defeat, Rustburg drops to 10-10 on the year.
