Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams (DeWitt, NY) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY), 16-6 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Jamesville-DeWitt improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Red Rams host Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse, NY) to play the Brothers in a Section 3 OHSL Freedom American game on Monday, June 2. The Brothers come into the game with a record of 14-3. Christian Brothers Academy won 19-11 in their recent non-league game against Fulton (Fulton, NY)

The Comets now have a 10-8 record.
