The Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) softball the visiting Tallmadge Blue Devils (Tallmadge, OH), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Spartans now sport a 24-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Louisville for a non-league outing on Friday, May 30. Boardman will encounter a Leopards team coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Leopards record now stands at 17-14.

With the loss, Tallmadge moves to 19-10 on the season.
