The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Colo-NESCO Royals (Colo, IA) and the visiting Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA), observed Colo-NESCO's softball team get by Boyer Valley by a tally of 14-13.

The Royals (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against GMG (Garwin, IA). The Wolverines go into the Iowa Star - South bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, GMG was nipped by BCLUW (Conrad, IA), 3-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the IKM/Manning Wolves (Manning, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 29. Boyer Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Kuemper (Carroll, IA).
