The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA) and the visiting Danville Bears (Danville, IA), observed Highland's softball team notch a victory over Danville by a final score of 8-0.

The Huskies (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Columbus (Columbus Junction, IA). The Wildcats go into the SE IA Super - North bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Columbus gained a win over WACO (Wayland, IA), 13-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Keokuk Chiefs (Keokuk, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 30. Danville will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
