The Lowell Red Devils triumphed over the host River Forest Ingots softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Red Devils play the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 30. Lowell will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN).
