Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 10-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Northumberland improves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, June 3. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 14-3. Rappahannock won 14-4 in their recent non-league game against Mathews (Mathews, VA)
The Pointers now hold a 12-8 record.
