In Thursday's non-league test, the Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA) softball squad the visiting St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA), by a tally of 9-5.

Next, the Indians clash with the South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) in a Twin Lakes test, on Friday, May 30. Pocahontas will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 22-1 league loss to Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA).

The Gaels (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Wildcats go into the North Central test with a 0-1 record.
