In Thursday's league match, the visiting Windham Eagles softball team scored a nice 17-2 win over the Westbrook Blue Blazes.

The Eagles (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Cheverus (Portland, ME). The Stags come into the Class A South match with a 13-0 record. In their last match, Cheverus notched a victory over Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME), 5-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Blue Blazes battle the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) in a Class A South match, on Monday, June 2. Westbrook will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 6-8 record after their 5-4 league loss to Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME).
