California High School Softball - Sheldon bounces McClatchy

The Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA) softball routed the visiting McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA), 19-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Huskies (9-8) will now prepare for their bout against Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Eagles go into the Delta League bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, Pleasant Grove was routed by Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA), 7-5, in a league bout.

The Lions now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Monterey Trail for a Metropolitan Conference bout on Thursday, May 6. McClatchy will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 23-2 league loss to River City (West Sacramento, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-5.
