Kentucky High School Baseball - South Point loses to Boyd County

The Boyd County Lions baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting South Point Pointers to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions (24-12) will now prepare for their match against Morgan County (West Liberty, KY). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 9-50 record. In their last match, Morgan County was overwhelmed by Estill County (Irvine, KY), 14-0, in a non-league match.

The Pointers (4-15) will now prepare for their match against Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Fighting Tigers go into the Ohio Valley match with a 5-6 record.
