The New London Whalers baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Plainfield Panthers to 5 in the Whalers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Whalers (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Centaurs go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division II match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Woodstock Academy gained a win over Ledyard (Ledyard, CT), 13-3, in a league match.
The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Griswold (Griswold, CT). The Wolverines go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division III match with a 5-9 record. In their last match, Griswold gained a win over Montville (Oakdale, CT), 16-15, in a non-league match.
