The Cranston East Thunderbolts held off the host Chariho Chargers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Thunderbolts now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Kingstown for a non-league test on Friday, May 6. Cranston East will confront a Skippers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI). The Skippers record now stands at 11-0.

The Chargers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams enter the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, La Salle Academy was nudged by Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI), 2-0, in a non-league test.
