The Plainfield East Bengals topped the host Plainfield South Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bengals now have a 20-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joliet Central for a Suburban Prarie test on Thursday, May 5. Plainfield East will confront a Steelmen team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL). The Steelmen record now stands at 3-21.
The Cougars (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers enter the Suburban Prarie test with a 17-10 record. In their last test, Plainfield North was knocked off by Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 2-1, in a league test.
