In Tuesday's non-league game, the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Sumter Fighting Gamecocks (Sumter, SC), by a count of 8-0.
The Eagles (19-2) will now prepare for their game against Fort Dorchester (North Charleston, SC). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Fort Dorchester knocked off Cane Bay (Summerville, SC), 3-2, in a non-league bout.
